Built through multiple layered techniques, the work incorporates organic materials, including real flower stems and branches from the plant itself, embedded directly into the surface to create a tangible connection between nature and art.
Color-changing and thermal inks interact with layered gold leaf, causing the piece to transform with light, warmth, and environment. As conditions change, the gold leaf moves through rich reds and soft hues of purples and pinks, altering the mood of the flowers and revealing new emotional dimensions over time. What appears calm and luminous in one moment may feel vibrant and energized in the next.
